A.A.S. - Surgical Technician

In our Surgical Technician program, you can prepare to work on a lifesaving team as a surgery technician in a fast-paced, challenging setting, such as a hospital, medical center or surgical center.

In this program, you can prepare to become a competent, entry-level surgical tech in the cognitive psychomotor and affective learning domains. This program is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, which allows you to sit for the certification exam in surgical technology given by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). After passing this internationally recognized exam, you will earn the credential of Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
